Occupational Therapist, MS OTR/L

She/Her

I'm Linda, the person behind Free Spirit Occupational Therapy. I have over 10 years of experience working with children and families in a variety of settings, but my favorite place to be is in the child's natural environment. I created Free Spirit Occupational Therapy as a way to offer services for families looking for compassionate, understanding care. I love getting to help children learn the skills they need to thrive!

How can occupational therapy help my child?

“Occupations” are the activities that are important to a person’s daily life, and occupational therapy focuses on helping people perform those activities. Activities like playing, learning, dressing, and eating are some of the occupations important for a child. Skills that might be addressed in therapy include:

-improving fine motor skills for independence with playing with toys, eating with utensils, getting dressed, or using a pencil

-improving visual motor skills for things like building puzzles, handwriting, or using scissors

-addressing sensory processing challenges that interfere with daily life

Put simply, if it’s important to you, occupational therapy can help.
